Dear Editor, Forage Genetics International (FGI) has recently announced that it has sold genetically modified (GM) alfalfa seed to customers in Ontario. This GM alfalfa seed is stacked with two GM traits – glyphosate tolerance (i.e. Roundup Ready) and low-lignin.
