Funding Details
Funding:
- Loans up to $13,800 & a non-repayable grant of up to $6,200
- Applicants must contribute a minimum of 5% equity
- Micro loans are repayable over 5 years and to support business cashflow, payments start after one year
- Fixed interest rate of 6%
Eligible Costs:
- Machinery, equipment, leasehold improvements and renovations
- Operating costs: wages, utilities, inventory, insurance
- Marketing and promotional items
- Business advisory and business
- Training service costs
- Legal / accounting / technical supports
Eligibility:
- First Nations women with status 18 years or older in farming and food production
- Farming and food producers across Ontario
- All types of business projects located in Central and Eastern Ontario
- Start-ups and business expansions
- Full or part time businesses
