Funding Details
Funding:
- Cost–share funding percentage is determined by selection of a competitive bid submitted by the applicant, up to a maximum cost–share payment of $40,000 per project
Eligibility:
- Streams include:
- Grasslands
- Riparian Areas
- Wetlands
- Applicants to the Nature Smart program must:
- Own the farmland on which they would like to complete the project
- Sign a 10-year Conservation Agreement with the Ontario Soil & Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA) before funding can be released
