Funding Details
Funding:
- Growers can receive 75% of eligible costs up to $50,000 to replace existing varieties
- Funding amount varies based on stream; two streams available:
- Apple, tender fruit, and table grape growers
- Wine grape growers
Eligibility:
- Ontario apple, tender fruit, table grape, and wine grape producers
- Eligible improvements:
- Better alignment with changing consumer preferences
- Increased yields
- Improved cold hardiness
- Improved resistance to pests and diseases
- Improved labour efficiency”
Project completion date has been extended to September 30, 2027 – check back for re-opening in 2027.
